Schwab Academic Excellence Award
The Schwab Academic Excellence Award is an endowed fund at the IAH that supports outstanding faculty work and acts as an early intervention retention tool for department chairs in these departments to use at their discretion.
Chairs in 21 departments in the arts, humanities and qualitative social sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences designate a faculty member to receive this $3,000 award to support the person’s scholarship and creative activity.
Awards
Faculty members, as chosen by their department chairs, receive a $3,000 award. Awards are given out in December of each year and are publicly announced in the spring semester.
