Hyde Hall spaces are used year-round for faculty development programs and activities offered by the Institute for the Arts and Humanities. Spaces in Hyde Hall are also available to book for activities related to our central mission of supporting faculty. Please note that we reserve spaces for units under the College of Arts and Sciences only.

The University Room, Incubator Room and Seminar Room are available for room reservations. Please refer to our room rentals and pricing for more information.



Hyde Hall is located in McCorkle Place on the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill’s campus, connecting the campus to Franklin Street. Please visit our directions page or parking page for details on how to access our building.

Hours of Operation & After-Hours Access

Access to Hyde Hall is not permitted before 8:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Movers, caterers, and event staff will not receive access to the building until 9:00 a.m. All events requiring setup must start no earlier than 9:00 a.m. For more information, please review our policies.
