Room Rentals and Pricing

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities has implemented new policies and fees for Hyde Hall. These changes, which are consistent with facility-use policies across campus, will allow the Institute to support activities that align with our core mission and maintain Hyde Hall as a welcoming space.

The following rooms can be requested for use:

University Room (109) – $400
- UNC Movers: Required for reservation.
- UNC Security: Required for any reservation time that concludes after 4:30 p.m.
Incubator Room (203) – $300
- UNC Movers: Not required for reservation.
- UNC Security: Required for any reservation time that concludes after 4:30 p.m.

The Leadership Library, which opened in fall 2024, is also available for reservation. It is not appropriate for events, but rather small gatherings of faculty. Please refer to the Leadership Library page for use guidelines.

Hyde Hall Discount for Core Constituent Units and Administrative Partners

The Institute has made the following change to our discount structure effective January 2023. The Institute will offer a 50% room rental discount to faculty in units in the College’s Fine Arts and Humanities and select units in the College’s Social Sciences and Global Programs. In addition, the Institute will also offer the same discount to administrative partners.
