History Tour and Social Gathering
October 4 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Hosted by the New Faculty Program
This is a series of site visits to locations on campus and in the local community relevant to the racial history of UNC-Chapel Hill and the surrounding community. We will begin with the built environment on campus, and then fan out to locations in Chapel Hill-Carrboro. These tours will be moderated by Librarian Nick Graham and members of the local community. After each tour, faculty may be interested in gathering at a nearby pub for refreshments (at their own expense).
