Demystifying the Associate Professor Role

Faculty will hear from a panel of faculty at UNC-Chapel Hill about the perks and pitfalls of tenure, suggestions for how to take advantage of new opportunities that tenure confers (e.g., opportunities for growth on and off campus, different post-tenure paths, advocating for junior faculty and staff). There will also be opportunities for informal discussion with our panelists and other newly promoted faculty members at UNC-Chapel Hill. Light refreshments will be served.
