Art and art history associate professor Lynise Williams and sophomore Uredo Agada are a recent faculty-student pairing who benefited from the William C. Friday Arts and Humanities Research Award.

Hyde Hall opened in 2002 to be the new home of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities in the College of Arts and Sciences.
