William C. Friday Arts and Humanities Research Award Applications Due

Applications for the William C. Friday Arts and Humanities Research Award are due April 14.

This award provides undergraduate students with a $2,000 stipend as they collaborate with former IAH Faculty Fellows on their research. Students do not need to be in Honors Carolina to apply. The full details about the award are available at https://iah.unc.edu/faculty-resources/apply-for-a-grant/

Faculty and student are to submit one online application. The following supplemental materials are required:

1. Faculty C.V.
2. Student resume/C.V.
3. Research project proposal that includes:
4. A brief description of the nature of the research to be conducted
5. Details on the student’s duties as a research assistant (8-10 hours per week)
6. An explanation of how the project contributes to the academic goals of both applicants.
