A Reckford Lecture event

Leading up to the Reckford Lecture with Magdalena Zaborowska, the Institute is partnering with the American Studies Department and the Critical Ethnic Studies Collective to present a reading group discussion on Zaborowska’s book, Me and My House: James Baldwin’s Last Decade in France.

The reading group will be led by American studies professor and chair Sharon Holland and Romance studies associate professor Emil Keme with IAH Director and communication professor Patricia Parker.

Reading group members will discuss the book for 30 minutes before opening the event to broader conversation with graduate students.

The discussion will be held on Zoom and is open to the public; registration is required.
