Writing and publishing a book against the backdrop of COVID-19 comes with unique challenges. Global supply chain disruptions, constantly-changing teaching situations, racially gendered reproductive labor expectations, and unpredictable schedules are leaving many scholars with less time and fewer resources than ever.

Join Dr. Cathy Hannabach, founder of the interdisciplinary academic editing agency Ideas on Fire, for a workshop on how to navigate the changing circumstances of publishing a scholarly book right now.

Topics covered include creating a flexible timeline, working well with publishers, getting professional editing and indexing support, and designing a virtual book launch that honors your unique situation and goals.

The workshop will be hosted on Zoom. Attendees will be admitted via waiting room. Please email Pamela Lothspeich or Philip Hollingsworth if you have any questions.

Hosted by the New Faculty Program.
