Information Session: Friday Arts and Humanities Research Award

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities and Honors Carolina—with the generous support of the William C. Friday Leadership Fund—are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to assist IAH Faculty Fellows in their current research projects. Students will also acquire fundamental skills in conducting graduate-level research in the arts and humanities. In an effort to initiate and foster new collaborative partnerships, preference will be given to faculty/student pairings that have not previously worked together on funded research projects. Interdisciplinary projects are highly encouraged. Award applications are due Nov. 11.

On Oct. 24 at 3:00 p.m., the IAH and Honors Carolina will host an information session about the Friday Award in the University Room of Hyde Hall. You will learn about the program, the kinds of student/faculty collaborations it supports, and hear from past recipients. Light refreshments will be served.
