Ruby Wang serves as the Programmatic Communicator, supporting the Institute’s internal and external communications.
Outside of their time at the IAH, Ruby creates multidisciplinary, cross-genre work with creative prose, lyrical essay, installation, and visual media to experiment with the boundaries of form and genre. Recently, Ruby graduated Duke University with BA degrees in English and Visual Arts. At Duke, they won awards such as the George P. Lucaci Award, the Benenson Art Award, William Styron Award, and others. Their writing and artwork are forthcoming with Passing Notes and Common Cause North Carolina. Previously, their work has been published by the Museum of Americana Literature, Poet’s Row, Tint Journal, Peatsmoke Journal, Third Iris Zine, and others. https://rubywangportfolio.carrd.co/
