Lifetime MemberNelson is a Co-Founder and Senior Advisor at Carousel Capital. He is a member of the UNC-CH Foundation Board, emeritus member of the KFBS Board of Advisors, emeritus member of the Chancellor’s Philanthropic Council, former member of the UNC-CH Investment Board, and an ex-officio member of the UNC Board of Visitors. He was a member of the Board of Trustees for eight years and chair of the BOT for 2 years. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Jane. Three of his children are Carolina graduates, class of 2000, 2006, and 2008.
