Community Programs

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities showcases faculty work and connects faculty to the university and the wider community through a wide range of public programs.

  • Lectures — The IAH hosts two recurring lecture series, the Reckford and Weil lectures, and occasional lectures and conferences on liberal arts topics of interest to the UNC faculty and community.
  • Salons — Fellows and community members gather in the home of an Institute supporter for a shared meal and evening of conversation around a topic of mutual interest.
