Opportunity Funding
The IAH’s Schwab Opportunity Fund makes approximately $10,000 a year available to support projects that include at least two IAH Fellows. Grants of up to $5,000 support sustainable ongoing faculty projects and provide start-up funds for new projects. Schwab funds typically are not used to bring in a major speaker or fund other one-time events. The IAH has other funds to support these types of activities. Schwab funds have been used to support:

Funding decisions are made by the director and executive director in consultation with the Faculty Advisory Board. ReportingFaculty groups that receive Schwab funds are required to report at the end of the academic year how the money was used.
