Faculty Life Cycle Programs
The IAH Faculty Life Cycle Programs serve UNC-CH faculty at unique points in their professional careers. It embeds faculty in strong interdisciplinary communities and professional networks, offering opportunities to discuss academic and professional issues with peers beyond academic departments.
The New Faculty Program is designed to introduce newly-arrived arts and humanities faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences to interdisciplinary conversations and mentoring networks at UNC-CH.
The Associate Professor Program is run collaboratively by the IAH and the College of Arts and Sciences. Throughout academe and across disciplines, newly tenured and promoted professors face unique professional and personal challenges. This program is designed to support them as they enter this period.
