Lectures
The Institute for the Arts and Humanities hosts two endowed lectures for the university community:
- Mary Stevens Reckford Lecture on European Studies, created by UNC Classics Professor Kenneth J. Reckford to honor his wife, Mary.
- Weil Lecture on American Citizenship, established by brothers Henry and Solomon Weil in 1915 to widen discussion of the American scene.
