The Institute for the Arts and Humanities is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 UNC-Duke Exchange Fellowship program. Applications are due to the Institute by Dec. 4, 2009.
Through the fellowship, one UNC humanities scholar will join the year-long, themed seminar at the Franklin Humanities Institute Seminar at Duke University. The theme for this year’s seminar will be “Expression/Performance/Behavior: Rethinking the Humanities.”
All Fellows are expected to participate actively in weekly meetings and programs, to provide input and suggestions on visiting speakers, readings, and topics, and to contribute as needed in the coordination of seminar programs and projects. Fellows are provided shared office space in the John Hope Franklin Center for International and Interdisciplinary Studies.
