Become a Friend

"Friends of the Institute" is the annual fund for general support of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities.

Established in 1992 by a core group of supporters, Friends now number more than 600 individual and family members.

A suggested level for an annual gift to Friends of the Institute is $100. An annual gift of $1,500 or more admits the donor to the Dean's Club. Gifts of $2,000 or more admit the donor to the Chancellor's Club.

From UNC's online donation site,  choose your method of payment. On Step 2, designate "College of Arts and Sciences" then select "Institute for the Arts and Humanities (7266)" to direct your contribution to the Institute. Review your personal information and complete the credit card information.
