Private gifts from alumni and Friends of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities have a profound effect on the lives of Carolina faculty, which in turn enriches the lives of students and strengthens teaching and research at Carolina. Private donations built Hyde Hall as a center for faculty development and pay most of the cost of our program for faculty development, faculty leadership and the growing community of knowledge networks that is the hallmark of the Institute experience.
