Additional Funding Opportunities

The Institute for the Arts and Humanities provides additional funding for faculty in the fine arts, humanities and qualitative social sciences through the following programs:

• Co-Sponsored Events – the Institute co-sponsors conferences, lectures, workshops and other events that enable faculty to pursue innovative, collaborative and interdisciplinary work with colleagues at UNC and institutions worldwide
• Faculty Working Groups – the IAH supports faculty-initiated collaborative working groups that span a wide range of topics
• Opportunity Funding – the Schwab Opportunity Fund offers grants of up to $5,000 to support sustainable ongoing faculty projects and provide start-up funds for new projects.
• King's College London Fund - UNC faculty and graduate students may apply to the King's College Fund for support for projects and collaborative events that advance the relationship between UNC and KCL.
