Re-envisioning the Humanities PhD Conference

Humanities PhdThis one-day conference focuses on all the possibilities with a humanities PhD outside of academia. The conference brings UNC-Chapel Hill graduate alumni in the humanities back to campus to share their experiences of applying skills gained in their graduate training to non-academic careers. Current humanities graduate student and faculty attendees will gain awareness of career pathways outside of and alongside academia, as well as practical strategies for a successful transition from graduate work to professional life.

In addition to the scheduled presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with humanities alumni working in a variety of fields during a table-talk lunch session. Free. Registration is required.
