Rev. Dr. William J. BarberThe Institute for the Arts and Humanities announces that Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II will deliver the 2017 Weil Lecture on American Citizenship. Barber is the pastor at Greenleaf Christian Church in Goldsboro. He has served as president of the North Carolina National Association of Advancement for Colored People (NC NAACP) and sits on the national board of the organization. Barber is most recently well known as the architect of the Moral Mondays Movement, a weekly protest at the state legislature building in Raleigh. Must have (free) ticket to attend. Register here. Limit one free ticket per registrant.
