Nelson Schwab IIIVice Chair, Advisory Board
Nelson Schwab is co-founder and senior advisor with Carousel Capital. Previously, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Paramount Parks, chairman and chief executive officer of Kings Entertainment Company, and executive vice president of Taft Broadcasting Company’s Attractions Group. Schwab earned a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1967 and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1972. Previously at UNC, Schwab served as the chair of the UNC Board of Trustees, on the UNC-Chapel Hill Endowment Fund Board, the UNC Kenan-Flagler Board of Visitors, the UNC Board of Visitors, and the 2013 Campaign Planning Cabinet. Currently, he serves on the Chancellor’s Philanthropic Council Emeriti, UNC-Chapel Hill Foundation Board, and the UNC-Chapel Hill Investment Fund Board.
