The Phi Beta Kappa Romanell Lectures: Susan Wolf

Susan Wolf, professor of philosophy at UNC-Chapel Hill, is the reciepient of the prestigious Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professorship for 2009-2010. Wolf will present three lectures on topics of philosophy March 15, 16 and 18, from 4-6 p.m. in the Hyde Hall University Room.

Susan Wolf, professor of philosophy at UNC-Chapel Hill, is the reciepient of the prestigious Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professorship for 2009-2010. Wolf will present three lectures on topics of philosophy March 15, 16 and 18, from 4-6 p.m. in the Hyde Hall University Room.

Details of each lecture will be posted as they become available. Lectures are sponsored by Phi Beta Kappa and the Department of Philosophy.

About the Lecture Series

The Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professorship is awarded annually to scholars in the field of philosophy and recognizes not only distinguished achievement but also the recipient’s contribution or potential contribution to public understanding of philosophy.

The recipient is expected to give a series of three special lectures during the year of the professorship. Lectures must be open to the general public as well as to the academic community.
